A user is any distinct merge request author whose MR triggers a notification in a given billing period. If someone reviews or comments on MRs but never opens one, they don't count.
What happens when I exceed 2 users on the Free plan?
Users are counted on a first-come, first-served basis each billing period. The first 2 MR authors get full notifications. Any additional authors beyond the limit simply won't receive notifications until you upgrade to Pro.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
Sign up for Pro and use it with your whole team for 7 days. After the trial, your subscription begins automatically. You can cancel anytime during the trial.
