A user is any distinct merge request author whose MR triggers a notification in a given billing period. If someone reviews or comments on MRs but never opens one, they don't count.
What happens when I exceed 3 users on the Free plan?
Users are counted on a first-come, first-served basis each billing period. The first 3 MR authors get full notifications. Any additional authors beyond the limit simply won't receive notifications until you upgrade to Pro.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Sign up for Pro and use it with your whole team for 14 days. After the trial, your subscription begins automatically. You can cancel anytime during the trial.
